I am happy to say that in ONE WEEK I will not only have a room in philly, I'LL BE LIVING IN IT. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come.
No, I haven't scored a job yet :/ that won't happen for a while I fear. Different people say different things. Some say, "In no time you be working!" others not so much. I'm not worried at all though. I've made money to support myself, even if I'm out of work for a couple weeks. My plan is to take at least a week off of no work, and then get to business after new years.

NEW YEARS. A whole new year. And so many many many new things.

new state
new address I still haven't memorized
new housemates (no more buddy joe!)
new mode of transportation (so long geep.)
new people
new job
new ROOM! (that looks awesome. pictures to come!)

what a completely ridiculous store.
let me tell you exactly what it is......
things that you can find at a thrift store, but mass produced, and five thousand times overpriced.

honesly, who looks at the "collected memories mirror" [which is a bunch of rusty, worn out mirrors put together] and says 'oh yes, i'd like to drop $700 on that! what a bargain!'
it's not even one of a kind people!!!! what are you thinking!?

it just upsets me that things like this exist.

you know it's time to do laundry when...

you open your drawer and all the undies you've got left are granny panties.

i wish i was rich

i wish i could do anything i wanted.

so new moon was awesome.

aaaand i'm really tired! i took a three hour nap and did not wake up revived. i've been in a misty murk.
i did however accomplish things. SUCH AS:

• opened birthday presents from Dad, Rona, Rory, & Andrew and Kirsten.
• picked out an outfit for tomorrow so i don't have to decide at 7 in the morning what matches.
  
• organized clothes that were everywhere in the room.
• brought my checkbook up to date.
• decided what i want to get as a tattoo.

Still to do is:

• shower.
• christmas gifties
• put more clothes away.
• paint nails.

don't have a full day off for over a week. it makes me disgruntled. i would rather have a day off. i have to wait until a week from now until i actually get to sleep in as long as i may wish.
this is how the holidays are however. aaaah well. at least i've got things to look forward to :)

born 20 years ago

let me just say HELLO to my twenties.
let me just say that's weird.
i hope being twenty works out okay.

so it was my birthday. and i worked all day. BUT MY PRESENT IS YET TO COME.
this evening, come midnight, i shall watch the much awaited for, New Moon, sequel to twilight. i have been waiting for this day...since i saw the first twilight move. actually, before that. since i read the book. actually, before that. since i was born. actually, since the first human was born.

sooo, a lot of people said happy birthday to me on facebook. it was pretty overwhelming! it made me feel happy though. there are a lot more people than i thought that acknowledge me. i feel bad (a little) because i hardly ever comment when it's someone's birthday. i'm usually days late, so i ignore it anyways. but maybe next time i'll say something and it will brighten their day, just like everyone has brightened mine today :)

north carolina! i went there. it was really nice. but MUCH too short of a trip. well, much to short a time away from work. i went back to work at 8 this morning, and every inch of me said "this is wrong. i should be in bed!" i wanted a birthday lie in, but no no no. maybe next year.

right-oh. i'm off to dalebert's for a little nap before game-time-new-moon-crazies.
